Important terms for using the Pathway Tax Solutions website, intake forms, and client portal.
General information only
Content on this public website is provided for general informational purposes. Tax outcomes depend on individual facts and law. Public website content is not a substitute for advice based on your specific circumstances.
No engagement created by a form
Submitting a contact request or tax intake does not, by itself, create an accountant-client, tax-preparer-client, attorney-client, or other professional relationship. An engagement begins only when Pathway accepts the work under its applicable engagement process.
Deadlines remain your responsibility
Submitting a message or intake does not automatically extend a federal, state, or local filing or payment deadline. Do not assume Pathway is responsible for a deadline until the engagement and scope have been confirmed.
Secure use
You agree not to attempt unauthorized access, interfere with the service, upload malicious content, probe for vulnerabilities without written authorization, impersonate another person, or use another client’s credentials. Keep portal credentials confidential and use the portal only for the client record you are authorized to access.
Sensitive information
Do not place Social Security numbers, ITINs, bank account information, identity documents, or tax documents in public contact or intake fields. Use the authenticated client portal or another channel specifically approved by Pathway.
Electronic communications
When you provide contact information and request communication, Pathway may respond using the authorized method. Ordinary email and text messaging may not be appropriate for sensitive taxpayer information.
Availability and changes
Pathway may update, suspend, or maintain website features as necessary. No internet service is guaranteed to be uninterrupted or error-free. Material terms may be revised as the website, services, or legal requirements change.
